My new toy, a colorful turtle.

finally, this is my first doll I made by my self, a little bit tricky and very time consuming for a beginner sewer like me, but it's so worthed :D

this turtle made from some left fabrics.

i used some left fabric from my first project of sewing; pillow case...yess, i made it...me, my self very surprised with the results, steve told me it is not bad for a beginner.

so this pillow adds a little bit colors to our black sofa, love it :)

i forgot about everything when i did all this sewing projects, it kept me busy..no more boring days.

i figured out sewing is very fun and challenging, i am looking for the next one, need some fabrics for the next, next, and next projects.

while i was busy with sewing in the day, i was also busy tried making srikaya jam, and pulut tai tai at night...craving for it for days, at last, i ate those! :)

i think i need to keep recipes from now on,

srikaya jam

4 1/2 cup of coconut milk ( i mix 4 cup of coconut milk and 1/2 cup water)
1/2 cup sugar
6 egg yolks
1 tsp of vanilla
1 panda leaf

mix them all, and simmer, cook with slow fire until thickened...and done.

last week was a busy day with trial projects, and it was fun.

then, steve took me to new york again for my facial appointment last saturday.
this time was a little bit more fun than the previous one, because it was first day of spring and the weather was so good, we had a walk around little italy and chinatown.

a little bit of empire state from chinatown..

and a lovely lunch ( yeap, i love having lunch outdoor while having fresh air around, it's been a long time since i have one back in Sydney with ellis.)

asian food such a great treasure while you are at overseas, it's like finding a home.

soya with cincau.

this penang char kwe tiau was really delicious, i almost finished it alone by my self.

steve ate this yong tau fu noddle, but he said it was not eatable or too poor compare those stalls in singapore.

well, it was enough to make us full for the whole day...and we found white castle burger as a new treasure.
we've been looking for a chance to taste one after watched it in food network, and we had this burger as our dinner on way back..i love it!!!
tiny mini, so cute, yet delicious.!!!

and my weekend then was so perfect after finally got a chance to watch alice in wonderland yesterday...yeap after 2 weeks of sold out ticket.

it's monday but i already miss my weekend time, oh well never get enough of weekend, springggg!
